Out and about

Lately youve enjoyed going out and about and have been a better listener as well! So weve been taking opportunities to go out and practice our shopping skills. We went to lowes for bright paints so that i could paint you a hopscotch set for the backyard out of some stones we have. You enjoyed that trip because itallowed  you to catch up with all the lawn mowers in the store :) you hugged kissed and chatted them up for quite some time. ( plus a few photos of

Dreams! ( a continuation series )

You woke to tell me your first ever dream ( that you were able to remember and verbalize). You woke crying and hollering for me at 5am. When i went in you said to please hold you and asked to come to my bed. When i asked what happened and if youd had a bad dream you replied, "bugs and bees were all over my room. Big bees and tiny bees. All over my room and biting me. Flying all around". 

Then the next night i said "now tonight think of happy thoughts before bed and youll dream happy things. Think of kitties and rainbows and butterflies!" At around 5am i woke to you laughing and giggling in your sleep and i assumed our happy thoughts had worked :) 

When i went in your room the next day you said, "i woke up and i was all alone. The fish were gone. They were swimming all in my room and they patted my back and they were so soft! I love them patting my back!" 

These dreams are too adorable for words!

You woke up kicking and crying yelling , "i wanna sit in the water!!! I wanna sit in the water!!!!!"

Me and you had been sick with allergies and so you were sleeping with me. You screamed out in your sleep " patches wont come to me!!!" Patches is the stray kitty at grandmommys house :) 

Heaven

Today the Phone rang upstairs. While p sat eating lunch he said:

P: is that granny pierce calling?

Me: no i dont think so. she is in heaven Watching us. 

P: did god send us down here from heaven? ( as you did a slow hand falling motion from above your head)

Me: yes. Actually, Yes he did. 

P: will we be so happy in heaven

Me: yes we will and we will all be there together one day

P: me and mommy and daddy and grandmommy and pawpaw. 

I found i profound that he said we were sent "down" here from heaven. We have never specifiaclly told p heaven was up. And the fact that you knew wed be so happy in heaven. He always refers to God in such a way that blows my mind because he says things that i wouldnt expect a 2 year old to understand. Such as asking me yesterday as we drove down the road listening to music: 

P: do the trees sing with me

Me: yes i guess they do!

P: do you see them. God made them, so dont say you dont see them! See them!?

And last week as we pulled into a nearby church that i was going to take us inside to tour you said: 

P: what are we doing

Me: were going to go in this church to look around. Maybe so that we can come here on Sundays! 

P: oh. Does God live here? Is God inside?

Me: wow. Well yes he is actually. 

And i proceded to telll you about church. 

A few months ago you sat out a water glass on the counter then filled another and you began drinking it. I said what are you doing you said, " im drinking this water and this other one is for granny pierce. This is granny pierces water and we are drinking together." This had me in shock bc for 1. I had only said grannys name once many months before when you saw a photo of her and 2. granny only drank water. All day everyday. It was pretty amazing to me. I felt very excited to think you may know her :) 

Youve been saying a lot of things like that lately. And you say blessing without wver questioning who god is or why we talk to him. Its all really amazing to me. Mom says birth is coming through the wormhole. That moment when god senda us to our earthly bodies. And this all makes me thinks so too. They say children are very connected with god and heaven bc they just recently left that home.
