Rainy day

Weve spent the whole morning in bed hibernating today on this rainy, dark day. You looked at me in bed and said, "Is it just me and u today mommy?" I said yep just me and you. You replied," Yay!! I love just me and you". 

I brought you lunch in the bed and you took a bite and said so kindly, "gaynchu mommy.. thats what i needed". and you are just what i needed.

Today me and p went to hendersonville produce for some local groceries. We usually visit around the fall and i have always gotten a pic of

Excited to show me what youd found behind the pumkins: a dead baby mouse :( i took p to the pet storw yesterdayto lool around and we admired the baby mice, so he knew exactly what hed found today. Sweet cece's where youd never been befoe! You picked plan and chocolate yogurt with gummies, snow caps, resses cup minis, reeces pieces and cherries and marshmellows! Wow!  P is rough and tumble but a gentle animal lover. He carried the ladybugs all over while he played and theyd stay right on his shirt and arms. One even crawled right onto his face! We had a great day together! As always.

Welp. The may be my favorite photo ever. Just captures the whole definition of loving a boy: dirt, nature, adventure, excitement, wonder, imagination, bravery, constant motion and a 'hands on- lets go dig the earth' mentality. I couldnt love a thing any more than this. 

Barber visit and the shortest cut yet!

We stopped by library today for story time and silly dancing and then headed to the barber for an "evening- out" haircut tostart fresh! You loved both activities and had a blast :)

Fishy fin

Here you are Giving love to our "fishy fin" before sending him to our neighbors for a week of fish sitting while we hit the beach! You were sad thinking we were giving him away forever- but i think we explained it pretty good and now you feel safe handing him over ;)
