My mom sent me this beautiful moment that I didn’t know was captured, this is the last sweet moment with my only child. He showed up in tears and distraught bc he needed to be sure “I was ok” once he heard our breech boy required mama to have surgery. He had been optimistic I wouldn’t and was terrified when we’d talk about the possibility. He embraced me in big love once he saw that I had made it out and was in one piece. I hadn’t yet truly held kai, and he was not yet in the room. So this moment is pretty special to me.
