Uncle visits and puddle jumping!
Today uncle mitch visited for breakfast and you had a great time playing stick-sword fights and being rowdy with him! Later me you and ben went for a walk and stopped to play at the creek and by dinnertime is was rainy so we sutied up and played in it for about an hour! It was a great day!

When i grow up...
Today as we drove past a construction site, you said so sweet and so sincere, "mommy when i grow up im gonna drive that excavator... No im gonna drive the crane". And the way you said, with a look of such eagerness and hopefullness was heart melting. I know youll be able to do anything you dream of, sweet boy! (Just please dont grow up too fast on me).

Spring has (almost) sprung!
Spring is sort of arriving! We welcomed the sunshine with mammys birthday, ahe turned 77! I worked but mom and p surlrised her with a visit! Today me and p put out easter and spring decorations and our spring flags! Also our first sprout of the year has sprung! A tomatoe plant! One of My favorite quotes about gardening is by Robert Brault, he said,"Why try to explain miracles to your kids when you can just have them plant a garden". And p loves to help me water and watch the plants everyday. Oh yeah.. And i scored this pretty little vintage green rotary phone today as well! the older i get, the more i love older items in my home as well. Just something magical about them- not knowing who owned them, what theyve been through, the stories behind them, and also i just enjoy the joy of owning things from simpler times.

Today was 70 degress and beautiful! To celebrate we stayed outside for 4 hours! And you mastered every vehicle in the garage! Even the bike you rode neevously last season, todah you hopped on and took off! I couldnt be more proud but it was so sad to see you looking so grown up so fast! We cleaned the yard, jumped in the bounce House, burned leaves and went on an adventure to find treasures. After that long day you topped it off with a massive donut grandma got
