Hello everyone! So Ive been losing sleep over the idea of a stroller...i want the reviews to be great, obviously i want something that will last! also, we really wanted air filled tires instead of plastic and we wanted the 3 wheel look. thats really all- thats not too much to ask right? apparently it is! finding a 3 wheel stroller filled with air, and not having horrible reviews has been a task! So i decided to look at the bob revolution. I keep hearing all about it.. It meets all the things we wanted, but it collapses huge! and we want to be able to take this on vacation or in the car without breaking out in a sweat. So while looking at the bob, i stumbled upon the City Mini 2012 and the new City Mini GT ( which has air tires!). The new 2012 city mini does not have air tires, but does have suspension making bumps and uneven ground less of an issue. I think i fell in love! I love the site
http://babygizmo.com/ and she compared the 2011 city mini to the 2012, to the GT and to the BOB! and i think the city mini comes out on top.. now to decided b/n the 2012 and the GT, it may just come down to needs, and do we really need air tires?????? Im not going to run with it, but will walk on paved trails with it so i dont think the air tires are 100% necessary. here is the video of the 2012 city mini ---->
City mini 2012 video..The BOB starts at around $400 and the city mini 2012 is much lower at $249. Now for the city mini GT (with air wheels), it is back up there at $349. But i still like the small collapse of the city mini better even if they are running the same price for the GT and the BOB....now we just need to decide!
things i like:
- it has the biggest canopy on a stroller with 2 peep windows
-tons of colors
-3 wheels
-huge undercarriage for storage
-its only 16 lb!
-breaks down with one hand and collapses into one of the smallest on the market
-available accessories include baby tray, parents tray, baby handle bar, etc.
-150 degree recline (one of the flattest avail,)! suitable for a newborn without a car seat!
-mesh window of back of reclined seat (does have a cover for it if its windy or rainy)
-and with all of them, you have to by a car seat adapter if needed
Mesh window on reclined seat:
Collapses into the tiniest stroller with only one hand!

The BOB collapsed is much bulkier:
Side by sides of each stroller:
The City Mini 2012 $249:
The City Mini GT $349:
(only diff. from 2012 is adjustable handlebar and air filled tires)
I love this one!
