Growing up fast

Lately ive found you doing such big boy things: in your actions, your thought process, your occasional acceptance of being alone ( even if im right next to you), and even in the way you move your body. I went looking for you the other day and found you in your room, on your rocking horse, playing your leap pad. and just the way you had your little ( big) feet propped up under the horse looked so grown up to me! Sometimes a momma just realizes through little glimpses how big her baby really is, this was one of those times. i ran to get ben so that he could peek around the doorway at you. It was too sweet.

Here you were eating lunch and, again, I thought the way you sat in that chair just looked like such a big boy move. Even my mom said she thought the same thing.

A few days later, you visited that same horse again, with the leap pad, but this time in sunglasses. You bring constant humor to our days and make everything so bright!













While threading a string through beads from a gift you recently received, you said, " string fits right there in the hole, nice and tight". The stuff you say, as well as your extraordinary vocabulary, keep us in awe and in stitches. All mommas know their children are special, but i cant help but to always be so amazed at the gifts you've been blessed with. We have been the recipients of the most amazing child.
