Back to nature

A few of our recent homemade, simple living, adventures! I took the leap into making homemade vitamin c facial serumwhich  mom and i have absutely loved! Buying commercially this stuff is a fortune, but making it myself ensures clean, real ingredients! Raw potent Vitamin c powder, vegetable glycerin and whatever essential oil youd like- we used rose hip oil :)

We also subscribed P to a monthly mailing list for Kids which delivers fun crafts with everything you need right inside! Its called koala crate. This month we built a paper tree with tissue paper leaves and planted real grass seeds for our window seal!

After buying our recent paint from lowes (mentioned in another post) we began making our hopscotch bricks - we even added your hand and footprints to remember! Me and you also painted a road on our flower bed brick border! You enjoyed helping! Until we realized wed purchased oil based paint!!- that was a fun mess to try to clean off of ourselves! Just add water and voila- a disaster stuck to our skin! Haha

We stopped by the Amish food store recently and got eggs, butter, tomatoes and a fried pie ( which we ate before we could photograph its goodness!) p didnt love it though and cried bc it was "too gooey!"  I mean, cried REAL tears over the gooiness!  so in honor lf our amish butter, we came home and made homemade bread, put our real 100% orange juice in a vintage glass oj bottle,  And ate candy necklace.. And enjoyed real Georgia peaches. All in all it was a very hippie week :)
