First rides alone!

Last night i took you down the road from our house to the carnival- we went last year but you fizzled out and didnt much care. This year it was the complete ooposite! When i said do you wanna go to the canival? You screamed, "yeah yeahyeah carnival lets go!"

When we got there you seemed so excited to do everything that i decided to take the risk and buy the unlimited armband for me and you at $20 a piece. And it didint dissapoint! First we rode the giant slide together which you loved! I didnt enjoy walking the 60 steps bc i dont love heights! But anything for you! The slide itself was tons of fun! Then you saw the cars and i said "mommy cant ride those youll have to ride alone. Are you ok witb that?" And you said yeah! So i strapped you in tight and felt a bit sad that you were taking such a big boy step all alone! But then when i saw thw cars take off i felt instantly warm and fuzzy and proud and overwhelmed with happiness! I couldn stop smiling! I was so prpud to watch you be so brave and big! I even surprised myself! You were full of thumbs ups and shouts of "mommy thos is so fun!"  You rode every ride available about 5 times! You had so much fun that daddy walked down from the house to see you! You rode the flying boats (which made me so nervous! I couldnt believe you wanted to ride them all alone! They went so high!), the catepillar and two types of cars all alone! The rest i could ride with you and you enjoyed that! You even rode the big kiddie roller coaster and the spinning doggie cups! You laid in my lap and enjoyed the spinning! It was maybe the most fun night ive ever had with you! And most of it was just me and you- it was an amazing mommy son memory for me! At the end we had a snow cone and you asked to ride one more ride. At the end of it you shouted, "stop this ride im ready to go Home!" Haha! WhAt a big boy - such a difference from those not so long ago car seat tantrums when wed leave somewhere! You and daddy skate boarded back to the car and you climbed in and off we went. You said as we left, "that was so mich fun. I had such a fun day at the carnival!" :) me too my love.
