Mammy when we bought our house in 2008/2009. I put it out in the yard assuming it was a type of scarcrow, never really sure. I knew it was her fathers, pawpaw beasley. Tonight i decided to look it up online. To my amazement i found nearly nothing of any help, except for one singular photo of one from an auction. The selling price? $11,000 ?! I had to clear my eyes and double check that number! There are none for sale online and very little info was given other than the manufacture. It was C.W Parker of Abilene, Kansas. It said it was an extremely rare carnival target practice game and if hit in the center hole, the wings would fly open ( i always wondered why the wings were mobile!) im in complete shock to have finally figured out what this owl is for and i have no idea how he came to own the owl! Ill have to call mammy and ask her. So for now, id better move this statue to the back yard where hea safer!! Heres our owl painted white, hes been white as long as ive known of him... And
Then here is the photo from the auction as well as the only history i found on C.W Parker
