31 weeks has come and gone and all sorts of progress has been happening! The nursery is moving along and now just needs some finishing touches such as art, a diaper pale (which ive been eyeballing the new Ubbi diaper pale which comes in orange!- although a high price tag, its all metal meaning smells never absorb into the plastic like other containers), finishing the mobile im making and hanging some last little items on the walls. My dad came by for my birthday and brought the rocking horse that was mine as a little girl, now suited with a new tail (since i tore the original tail off when i was little) its ready for use once again!

Beethoven has been bought hundreds of toys, all of which he could care less about. Then he finds this in the nursery and has gone BANANAS over it! I guess its his new toy for now...
Woke up with a little boy literally hanging over my left hip bone this morning...i can only imagine he was in a nice little ball all warm and cozy in there!
Here is the mobile-in-progress! I am a person who doesnt much care for traditional mobiles. I think they are ugly to be honest. The hook on the bed with all the fluffy fabric up the arm of it is what gets me i think? But, the concept behind having a mobile i DO understand, and i do want our baby to have something interesting and thought provoking to look at! Plus, for the not so pretty appearance of a mobile, why are they so expensive??? So, I sought out new ideas for DIY mobiles and this one i really love. The ring was $1.29, the circle punch was $5.00, the paint swatches were free and the metal hooks were $2.00. so for a total of only around $9 its a huge savings and a mobile we will love! I also liked a DIY mobile with paper airplanes made from world maps but this one, once complete, has the look of a chandelier, is more colorful and i think will be more interesting to look at for baby..
Beethoven found himself a nice fluffy pillow this week in the form of a 31 week old belly...

Well time is moving right along and I must say you are truly a beautiful mommy in waiting.! I'm so excited for this life altering experience to take place. So excited to see the changes that take place in you as a person after you become a mom. You will never be the same.xxoo
