We are now full term!!! You did it Baby B!!! Were so proud of you! Now the preemie fears are over and now we get to fear your health at birth, then when we conquer that we get to worry about you for your whole life! It'll never end! The "parent fears" are here for good i suppose. You'll too understand this one day. As now we understand our parents too. This week has been great! My only nuisances consist of this lovely symptom i meant to mention a few weeks ago- where my right ear is constantly humming and clogged from the fluid of pregnancy- but Ive been reassured by an ENT at my job that this will go away 6-8 weeks post birth :) Also, the fluid has caused terrible, painful joints in my hands during the night and when i wake up in the mornings. It goes away shortly after waking up and moving them around. This too will go away after your arrival, so its all stuff that im happy to suffer! Sleeping has become not very fun, im extremely tired but get no rest- i am tired of sleeping only on my sides and when i turn over to reposition ( which is constantly) it takes what seems like forever bc its so hard to roll this big belly over and it hurts to roll it all over! I log roll just to get out of bed to pee! haha! Everything is a big ordeal at this stage! But its still really fun bc when i get up so do you! Baby rolls all around and wakes up with me and then goes back to sleep when i lie back down or get comfy :) Its hard to believe hes a full grown infant in my stomach at this point!? The midwife appt this week went well and they felt him and approximate him at about 6.5-7lb, heart rate was about 140 and all seems well! now for the TMI portion of the post: lost my mucus plug this week! meaning labor is imminent haha ( as if we didnt know that) but its still progress in the right direction. It was actually pretty funny bc after that happened Ben was like, "Ok i gotta pack right now!" and began running around packing his bag for the hospital haha- mine have been packed for about a week now. At this point, the car is loaded and ready! Carseat is in the back seat ready to go too! Now....we just wait!!!!! Ben keeps asking everyday, "is today the day?? do you feel any different??" We are trying to enjoy the last few weeks of silence and "just the 2 of us" as this will never be our life again...ever. Thats hard to wrap our heads around. Nursery is ready to go and complete, we just wait for YOU baby B! We also have a few names finally to take the hospital with us- we think wed like to meet you before naming you :) your aunt Ashlee just sent me a text telling me to tell you she loves you! She mustve felt psychic with me writing this...
37 weeks!
In the nursery...
